Helen Afowowe kom till Stena Bulk i Houston i maj 2003.
Helen tog en examen inom redovisning på University of Central Florida i maj 1995.
Hon arbetade på Barnet Bank i Florida i ett år innan hon flyttade till Houston, Texas med familjen i oktober 1996. Under de sex följande åren arbetade hon med redovisning på olika företag. Hon kom till StenTex 2001 och fick en fast anställning på Stena Bulk LLC 2003.
