Ed Averill

Ed Averill, born in New Zealand in 1969, joined Stena Bulk in 2006 in the Tanker Chartering department.

Ed gained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of Otago in New Zealand in 1990 followed by a Bachelor of Chemical and Process Engineering degree at the University of Canterbury in 1992, also in New Zealand.

After University Ed travelled to England where he worked in the Papermaking Industry for four years before moving into the Petrochemical Industry where he worked for three years for a UK subsidiary of Repsol. Thereafter he worked for ExxonMobil for six years, four of which were spent chartering crude and product tankers, before he joined Stena Bulk.
