Danyang Fang

Danyang Fang was born in 1968 in Dalian, China, the scenic city known for shipbuilding. She joined Stena in July, 2003.

Danyang Fang studied Naval Architecture at Shanghai JIAOTONG (Communications) University and graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor's Degree. During the following 10 years she worked for China Shipbuilding Trading Company, the trading arm of the country's shipbuilding industry, where she contributed to 46 newbuilding projects valued at over USD 1.3 billion and was promoted to Senior Manager. In 2001, she enrolled in the MBA program jointly sponsored by MIT Sloan School of Business and Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management. As soon as she got her degree she was appointed Chief Representative of the Stena Beijing Office.

Danyang Fang and her husband Dr. Yuan have been blessed with a lovely son Kun (Legendary Fish in Taoism), now 8 years old. She likes spending her spare time reading, travelling or playing tennis.
