Oil shipping
We believe oil should travel first class
We transport crude oil from the oilfields to the refineries. Our focus is to achieve true safety, enhance trading flexibility and keep low transportation cost.
This is done through innovative thinking and best achievable technology. A spot-on example is the development of the V-MAX concept – VLCCs specifically designed and built to transport large oil cargoes through narrow and shallow waters.
Principally our crude oil tankers are divided into four different sizes: VLCC, Suezmax, Aframax and Panamax.
Stena Victory in Philadelphia. The V-MAX is designed and built with a draft like a Suezmax and a length like a VLCC. |
